Allergy Shots (SCIT) – SubCutaneous ImmunoTherapy
SubCutaneous ImmunoTherapy, also known as allergy shots or SCIT, is a form of long-term treatment that decreases symptoms for many people with allergic rhinitis, allergic asthma, conjunctivitis (eye allergy) or stinging insect allergy. Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngic Allergy, Dr. Mendy will mix the proper antigens, test you for the proper allergy, and treat you to reduce or even eliminate the nuisance and sometimes life threatening problems caused by our bodies very complex and occasionally over vigorous immune system.
